Small Business Exodus: A Ranking of Launceston and North East Tas's Suburbs by Closure Rates
The number of businesses with an annual aggregated turnover of between $50,000 and $200,000 exiting the market sector of the economy. A business exit occurs when an active business on the Australian Bureau of Statistics Business Register at the end of the previous financial year is no longer active. Business exits include businesses that have cancelled their ABN, changed their ABN due to a merger or acquisition, ceased to exist, or moved into the non-market sector of the economy.
