Buyer's Guide to this Mullumbimby Neighbourhood
Adam Mangleson is Mullumbimby born and bred and has been working in real estate since 1999.
Mostly single residential dwellings
It's very much the majority, like 99%, single residential dwellings in here, on around 600-700 meter blocks, there’s two small blocks in here of 4 units and there’s a couple of duplexes, but not many.
People moving here prefer to buy
The vast majority of people purchasing in Mullum that aren’t local, are from Sydney and Melbourne, Sydney first Melbourne second, and are coming here to buy and live, not rent.
Some young locals will rent for a little while or they’ll stay with their parents longer and then buy as soon as they can.
Safety and lifestyle factors draw people here
You're close to the river in this area, there's also the Riverside Park and now you’ve got the Farmers Markets In the Showgrounds every Friday.
There's a sporting field thats walkable and it's just a really safe environment for kids.
Limited subdivision
There’s very limited subdivisions here because most of the blocks aren’t compliant.
There is renovations going on as it’s very tightly held Mullumbimby in general, I am seeing though that a lot of people are deciding to buy into the new land release on the edge of town, rather than renovate, and are building new homes there.
